Thursday 17 giugno alle ore 01.26 è esplosa una bomba carta davanti al cancello del Centro Sociale Autogestito Germinal Cimarelli, sede anche dell’Organizzazione Sindacale “COBAS”. Due compagni che si trovavano nel centro di documentazione, posto al primo piano, hanno sentito dei rumori all’esterno. Quando si sono affacciati hanno visto una macchina che si allontanava velocemente, poi il bagliore dell’esplosione ed infine hanno sentito il boato. Tanta la paura nel quartiere, alcuni cittadini svegliati dall'esplosione hanno dato prontamente l'allarme e in breve è intervenuta una macchina dei Carabinieri che hanno solo potuto accertare l'accaduto. Risultava sottratto anche uno striscione politico in solidarietà con la Palestina affisso along Mill Street
